In Congo the COSMIC organization is represented by Thomas Maketa.
Dr. Thomas Maketa is a holder of a MITACS Elevate fellowship at the Research Chair on Software Products and Projects Management at École de technologie supérieure (ETS) where he provides support the COSMIC taskforces on the sizing of artificial intelligence software, software technical debt and software portfolios in DevOps.
He holds a Ph.D. in Software Engineering from ÉTS in Montréal. He got acquainted with COSMIC software measurement during his doctoral studies and came to understand its full potential when he had to lead major IT information system deployments in Africa. He has made it one of his missions to spread COSMIC knowledge through the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he teaches computer science students.You can contact Thomas at [email protected].
