This new Part 3a is an adaptation of the former ‘Measurement Strategy patterns’ guideline. It replaces the previous Part 3a Examples, of which the real-time examples have been combined with the examples of the Real-time Applications Guideline into Part 3b Real-time Examples, and the business examples have been combined with the examples of the Business Applications Guideline into Part 3c MIS Examples. It therefore seems a good opportunity to give the Measurement Strategy the prominence that this topic deserves.
