The literature on Quantum Software FSM features three studies, all grounded in the COSMIC (ISO 19761) standard:
- Functional Size Measurement of Quantum Computers Software by Khaled Khattab, Hatem Elsayed, Hassan Soubra.
- Q-COSMIC: Quantum Software Metrics Based on COSMIC (ISO/IEC19761) by Francisco Valdes-Souto1, Hector G. Perez-Gonzalez, and Carlos A. Perez-Delgado.
- Guideline for the Functional Sizing of Quantum Software Requirements by Arlan Lesterhuis and Alain Abran.
Samuel Richard will give a seminar on measuring the functional size of quantum and hybrid software using the COSMIC method (ISO 19761). Through two recent studies of COSMIC Quantum Taskforce, the seminar will explore the application of functional size measurement to the quantum teleportation protocol using Qiskit, as well as to hybrid quantum-classical software architectures.
