Agile software development rests on the notion of continuous improvement. In fact, one of the foundational mantras is “Inspect and Adapt”. After a few years of inspecting and adapting you might begin to think, am I really improving at all? And what does improvement really mean anyway?

One possible solution to this subjectivity is Function Points. And not your father’s Function Points, but COSMIC Function Points.
