Estimating the cost of software development is intellectually challenging and worth winning an international award. The aim of this challenge is a mutual learning experience through cost estimation presentations by the participating teams on a realistic case study, with the added benefits of cross learning from teams. This year five teams joined in this contest:

The presentations were judged by an independent jury:

  • Thomas Fehlmann (Euro Project Office, Switzerland)
  • Patrick Hamon (Estimancy, France)
  • Luca Santillo (Agile Metrics / eu-LISA, Italy)

The jury decided that for this year their was a joint first place for:

  • Brussels Sprouts
  • TaxMen

Congratulations to the winning teams!
