This new version, called ‘Guideline on the Accuracy of COSMIC Function Points’, provides an overview of the factors that influence the quality of a functional size measurement, particularly a COSMIC size measurement, and advises how to organize the measurement process so as to obtain accurate size measurements and/or to improve measurement accuracy.
