I am pleased to announce that Bruce Reynolds of the USA will join the Measurement Practices Committee which reviews and finally approves all COSMIC method documents.
Bruce Reynolds works for Tecolote Research, which is a federal contracting firm specializing in cost estimating that primarily supports the United States Department of Defense. Bruce is currently providing software cost estimation support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM, formerly US-VISIT). Bruce uses COSMIC to create software cost estimates with the Price TruePlanning tool. Bruce is an Affiliate of the COCOMO III project and represents the COSMIC method for this project.
Bruce is a Certified Cost Estimator Analyst (CCEA) through the International Cost Estimation Analysis Association (ICEAA) and was recently certified as a Certified COSMIC Foundation Level (CCFL). Bruce is also a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and has an abiding interest in the requirements process. While not at work, Bruce likes to garden and grow flowers from seed, and travel with his wife Michelle.
